User manual for the Sony PMWF5A7SLCD PMW-F5 & a7S II Production Crew PMWF5A7SLCD
The user manual for the Sony PMWF5A7SLCD PMW-F5 & a7S II Production Crew PMWF5A7SLCD provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Digital Cine Cameras.
The Sony PMWF5A7SLCD PMW-F5 & a7S II Production Crew Bundle is suitable for owners/operators or anyone looking to start building their own 4K camera package. It includes a Sony PMW-F5 with the 4K upgrade, which allows you to capture 4K video internally. The included Sony a7S Mark II provides you with a second camera capable of recording 4K, which makes this a fairly well rounded A & B camera package. The smaller a7S II can be positioned in spaces too tight for the F5 without having to sacrifice image resolution. The bundle also includes an SxS media card reader, shoulder mount, and a license for DaVinci Resolve 12 Studio.
The included F5 CineAlta Camera features an 8.9MP Super35-sized sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range and records 4K, 2K, and HD video. It comes with the 4K upgrade installed and that enables XAVC 4K/QFHd recording and playback, 4K SDI and HDMI output, and simultaneous recording of XAVC 4K/QFHD and MPEG HD. The DVF-L350 LCD Viewfinder features a 960 x 540 resolution and a flip-up eyecup with an adjustable diopter. The included shoulder mount allows you to comfortably hand-hold the F5 Camera for documentary style shooting. It features a low profile to maintain a low center of gravity and a sliding balance mechanism for adjusting the camera's balance front to back.
The a7S Mark II Mirrorless Digital Camera features a full-frame 12.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor and is capable of internal UHD 4K recording at 30 fps with full pixel readout as well as 1080p recording at up to 120 fps, all in the XAVC S format. For both stills and video recording, the sensor is paired with the BIONZ X image processor to enable expanded sensitivity to ISO 409600, continuous shooting to 5 fps, and fast intelligent autofocus with low-light sensitivity to -4 EV.
