User manual for the Spectra Cine Spectra Professional IV-A-SP Light Meter 18007AP
The user manual for the Spectra Cine Spectra Professional IV-A-SP Light Meter 18007AP provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Photo Accessories - Light Meters.
The Spectra Professional IV-A-SP Light Meter System from Spectra Cine is an accurate exposure measuring system for incident and 1° spot metering with a repeatable accuracy within 0.05 f-stops. It comes with a Photosphere for incident metering, a Photodisc for directional light, and a 1° PhotoSpot for spot metering.
This meter offers a wide sensitivity range, from f/0.35 to f/128, being able to register illuminance from 1 to 100,000 lux. And, when utilizing the spot metering mode, it has a measurement level from 0.1 to 70,000 footlamberts. This reading can be combined with exposure times from 1/8,000 second to 30 minutes or from frames rates between 2 to 360 for simple usage while shooting. Also, the head rotates 270° for versatility while measuring.
Additional features include a ratio mode and averaging. By utilizing the built-in memory of the meter, ratio mode can calculate the difference between two stored readings. It can then provide a reading in precise 1/10 stop increments. Also, the averaging of two readings, or continuous averaging is possible with this system as well.
The meter runs on an included 6-volt battery. Also packaged with the meter are a leather case, a hard carrying case, and a neck strap. Additionally, it features a calibration traceable to the National Institute of Standard Technology in Washington D.C.
