The Supermicro C7Z170-SQ ATX Motherboard lets you build a system with a 6th-generation Intel processor along with up to 64GB of DDR4 memory modules. It comes with an M.2 connector that utilizes the multiple PCI Express lanes to support PCIe-based SSDs. Supermicro has outfitted this motherboard with three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots so you can install optional graphics cards designed for video editing or gaming. Aside from the internal components, this motherboard connects to external peripherals via its two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. In addition, it has a USB 3.1 port that is faster than USB 3.0 and features a reversible Type-C design.
This motherboard comes equipped with an Intel i219V controller that provides Gigabit Ethernet speeds through the single RJ-45 port. With integrated Intel graphics support, this motherboard delivers visuals to your monitor through its DVI-D, DisplayPort, and HDMI ports. It also offers seven audio jacks as well as Realtek ALC1150 audio to complete the multimedia experience. For SATA-based storage and optical drives, it comes equipped with six SATA III connectors. Moreover, the chipset lets you configure your storage drives into a RAID mode. It also has three PCIe 3.0 slots for building a flexible PC system.
