The user manual for the Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens and Filter provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Lenses - SLR Lenses.
Revolving around a versatile wide-to-tele zoom for APS-C-format Canon EF mount shooters, the Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens and Filter Kit from B&H pairs the all-around lens with a 67mm UV Haze filter to guard the lens' front element from dust and scratches and also reduce unwanted haze and bluish casts from ultraviolet light.
The 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO lens is an expansive zoom providing a 25.4-480mm equivalent focal length range to suit working in a variety of situations. The optical design incorporates a series of corrective elements, including four aspherical elements, two low dispersion elements, one Extra Refractive Index (XR) element, and one Ultra-Extra Refractive Index (UXR) element, to significantly reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range for increased sharpness and clarity. This Canon EF mount version sees the inclusion of Vibration Compensation image stabilization to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld and tracking shooting. Additionally, this lens also features a Piezo Drive autofocus motor to produce quick, quiet focusing performance that is beneficial to both video and stills shooters. It also provides a minimum focusing distance of 15.4" and a 1:2.9 maximum magnification ratio to support working with close-up subjects.
