The ice silver 13.3" 16GB Chromebook 2 from Toshiba is designed for a Web-optimized experience. With its user-friendly interface, the Chromebook 2 offers a unique computing experience that is enhanced by the Internet.
This Toshiba Chromebook has a 13.3" LED-backlit TruBrite IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a max brightness of 340 cd/m2, and a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, which is powered by integrated Intel HD Graphics. Its resolution can support native 1080p HD video playback without upscaling or letterboxing. Additionally, the system's graphics may be output to an external display using the integrated HDMI port.
The system is powered by a 1.7 GHz Intel Celeron 3215U Dual-Core processor. It also has 4GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L RAM, 16GB of eMMC storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, an integrated front-facing HD webcam, and dual microphones. There are also built-in Skull Candy stereo speakers and an SD media card reader. Additional compatible peripherals, such as extra storage, optical drives, mice, and more may be connected using the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Additional compatible peripherals may be paired using Bluetooth 4.0 technology.
Google Chrome OS is a Linux-based operating system designed by Google to work exclusively with web applications. The Toshiba CB35-C3300 combines the aspects of a pure cloud client with the hardware of a traditional portable computer, which puts it in its very own class of netbook and notebook computers. Included with this Chromebook are a 45W AC adapter that runs using 100-240V at 50-60 Hz, a power cord, and a 3-cell / 45Wh Lithium-polymer battery that lasts for up to 8 hours before recharging is required. Also included is 100GB of Google Drive online storage that is free for 2 years.
Please note that in order to take full advantage of Chrome OS, you will need to be connected to the Internet.
