User manual for the TV One C2-260 PCI/ISA Card Video Scaler C2-260
The user manual for the TV One C2-260 PCI/ISA Card Video Scaler C2-260 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Professional Video - Signal Processing & Distribution - Signal Converters.
The C2-260 PCI/ISA Card Video Scaler from TV One is a PC card designed to perform up conversion from standard video formats to computer or HDTV signals. It can also manage cross conversion between PC and HD signals. It supports NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards. Inputs include (2) composite, (2) YC/S-Video, or (1) RGBHV, YUV, or YPbPr component. Output is selectable as any computer resolution up to 2048x2048 at any vertical refresh rate and all HDTV resolutions up to 1080p. Moreover, this unit will work with both PC and Mac computers. This unit's exclusive AutoSet feature automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen. All settings can be stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when power is turned off. This unit can be controlled via an infrared remote control or an RS-232 connection. Additionally, an on-screen display is available to assist in setup and a Windows control panel is provided and will work with most third-party control systems. A variable zoom feature allows you to enlarge any part of the computer screen up to 10X. A variable shrink feature allows you to shrink the image to as little as 10% of its original size, ensuring that you can fit it on most displays. Advanced digital flicker elimination circuitry and a high sampling rate help to ensure a crisp picture. Moreover, full bandwidth chroma sampling ensures faithfully reproduced colors. Other advanced features included genlock, chromakey, and lumakey. A key mode allows computer graphics to be keyed over an external composite of S-video signal and this image may be faded in or out. Because of its 4:4:4 sampling format, precise keying at the pixel level is also possible. A mix mode permits glitch-free mixing between computer image and external video and a PIP mode allows the computer input to be inset in a window over either of the video inputs. This product features TV One's CORIO2 technology, a proprietary chipset that provides functionality for future upgrades. This video processing engine is entirely firmware based, meaning that when upgrades or updates become available, you only need to upgrade the firmware on your unit to benefit from this new technology.
