The Ultrasone Edition 5 Closed-Back Headphones are part of a limited edition of 555 headphones produced worldwide that feature S-Logic EX technology, which helps deliver a listening experience that is independent of room acoustics. These headphones feature a funnel-shaped arrangement for the titanium-coated sound transducers, which orients them downwards to the front and allows them to be positioned farther from the ear, resulting in a much more spatial forward-positioning effect.
The headphones’ ear cups are handmade from aged moor oak which is hundreds of years old and the headband is constructed from black-anodized aluminum. The ear cups are protected by 7 layers of varnish and finished with a wafer-thin, laser-etched aluminum logo. The ear pads and the headband pad are made of Ethiopian sheep leather, which combines softness with insulating properties for comfort and high-quality sound. The Edition 5 headphones are also equipped with MU-metal shielding to reduce radiation.
These headphones come with two flexible and detachable 99.999% OFC cables, both of which are fitted with Neutrik connectors. Also bundled is an exclusive storage case, a brushed designer headphone stand made of high-grade stainless steel, and a headphone pouch.
