The BG-C11 Battery Grip from Vello is designed specifically for the Canon EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR. It holds one or two LP-E12 batteries, and therefore can effectively double the camera's normal shooting time.
The design of the battery grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your DSLR in the vertical position. The BG-C11 comes with an alternate shutter release button to facilitate shooting when held vertically. An on/off button allows you to disengage the grip's shutter button to prevent accidental firing.
An included IR remote triggers the camera's shutter through either the sensor on the grip, or using the camera body's sensor when in IR mode, from up to 15'. It is designed with an anti-slip rubber grip and firm curvature to further improve handling. A battery door holder prevents you from losing the door when the grip is in use.
