The TC-DB-II Tripod Collar D from Vello is designed for the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens. It makes rotating your camera faster, and improves balance by attaching the lens, rather than the camera, to your tripod or monopod. The thumbscrew on the collar has a built-in locking feature so that it cannot be accidentally opened when you loosen it to rotate your camera.
Alignment marks on the collar allow for quickly changing the orientation from portrait to landscape. You can use either a 3/8"-16 or a 1/4"-20 tripod mount using the included bushing adapter.
