The 4TB My Passport Pro Portable RAID Storage Drive from Western Digital is bus powered eliminating the need for a separate power adapter, and comes with an attached 14" (35.6 cm) Thunderbolt cable. With plug and play functionality all you need to do is plug in the drive and it's good to go. Once plugged in you can begin taking advantage of typical data transfer rates of 230 MB/s and maximum data transfer rates of up to 10 Gb/s.
Along with enhanced data transfer rates, this My Passport drive features two separate drives within the anodized aluminum enclosure. These dual drives can be configured into RAID 0 for enhanced drive performance, RAID 1 to ensure the data stored on one drive is backed up on the other, or JBOD to use each drive independently.
