To keep up with the fast transfer rates, WD has outfitted it with two Thunderbolt 2 ports, which offer a data bandwidth of 20 Gb/s and the ability to daisy chain up to six devices. Additionally, it includes a micro-B to Type-A USB 3.0 cable that connects to the rear of the My Book Pro to support the two USB 3.0 ports in front, so you can charge and sync smartphones, tablets, and cameras.
