The My Book Pro 12TB (2 x 6TB) Two-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array from WD comes with two WD Black 7200 rpm hard drives that are pre-configured in RAID 0 to deliver a transfer rate up to 435 MB/s. It sports a dual-core Intel Xeon processor and two hot-swappable bays. The drives are formatted in HTFS+ and offer a total capacity of 12TB for your Mac system. You can reformat the drives to use the My Book Pro with a Windows system or configure them into a hardware RAID 1 or JBOD. When configured into RAID 1, you can safely and redundantly store your 4K videos, high-definition images, and 3-D renderings as well as interactive and data-intensive projects on the My Book Pro. To keep up with the fast transfer rates, WD has outfitted it with two Thunderbolt 2 ports, which offer a data bandwidth of 20 Gb/s and the ability to daisy chain up to six devices. Additionally, it includes a micro-B to Type-A USB 3.0 cable that connects to the rear of the My Book Pro to support the two USB 3.0 ports in front, so you can charge and sync smartphones, tablets, and cameras.
The WD My Book Pro 12TB (2 x 6TB) Two-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array operates using 100-240 VAC at 50-60 Hz. Included with this array is a Thunderbolt 2 cable, a USB 3.0 cable, and a power supply. It is protected by a limited 3-year warranty.
