The user manual for the Whirlwind FP-1 Floor Pocket FP-1 provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product A/V Presentation - Cables & Accessories - Floor, Wall & Table Boxes.
The Whirlwind FP-1 Floor Pocket can be mounted directly into a cut-out in a wooden floor or it can be installed on the FP-1BB Electrical Style Back Box. It features removable end and bottom panels for connector mounting. Two types of end plates are supplied: blank and pre-punched for 4 Whirlwind WC3F and WC3M style connectors. The blank panel is made of solid metal, which allows you to punch or drill it to your own specifications. The bottom panel can accept small multi-pin and other type of connectors when used with a deep back box. The pocket also features cable-clearance slots in the doors that allow you to close it over cables when in use, and is UL-listed and CSA approved.
