Elements from ZapZorn is a sound set for use with the Kontakt 5 engine and comes with over one-hundred tonal objects generated from glass, metal, plastic, and wood, and sampled in over four-hundred performances (stuck, plucked, hand hit, etc., and non-looping hit based samples). The 1.9 GB library contains nearly 4,000 multi-velocity samples in 24-bit/96 kHz resolution.
A set of menus help in creating sounds, while the over 160 patches come ready to use along with being the basis for over 30 multis. It's possible to create music or sound effects, percussion or melody, driving rhythm and ambient pads, and the ready to use sounds are tonal, playable and useful. The Arpeggiator Tab allows for taking these new sounds and applying multiple direction arpeggiator combinations.
The Trigger FX Tab provides up to nine effects that can be triggered or latched depending on the user's preference. Many of the trigger effect parameters are controllable via MIDI CC#'s. All of the trigger effects have three adjustable parameters. A custom convolution reverb comes with twenty-four custom IR samples.
