With a standard coaxial connector, the 5354 DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem/Router from Zoom eliminates the need for a separate cable modem. Simply attach the coaxial cable from your service provider directly to this modem/router and begin transmitting your connection via Wi-Fi or through the four Ethernet LAN ports. You benefit from 8 downstream and 4 upstream channels for enhanced Wi-Fi transfer rates of up to 343 Mbps, which is perfect for transferring large files, streaming multimedia content, and more. This cable modem/router supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless networking standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency making it compatible with nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device. If wired connectivity is what you need you can plug Ethernet compatible devices into any of the four Gigabit Ethernet ports located on the back of the router. In addition to Ethernet connectivity, you can connect USB peripherals such as external storage devices to either of the USB 2.0 ports. Once your USB device is connected, the integrated DLNA media server simplifies the process of streaming your stored multimedia content to devices on your network.
