The key of C Hohner CX-12 Jazz Harmonica is an innovation in chromatic harmonica technology featuring an integrated injection-molded mouthpiece cover design for improved resonance. The Jazz version of the CX-12 features a reduced mouthpiece radius for greater playing comfort and increased compression for music genres such as jazz, blues, pop, soul, and funk.
The instrument features 48 replaceable classic chromonica reeds, 1.2 mm brass reed plates, a zigzag slide construction, an ABS lacquered mouthpiece, an open-backed housing for higher output, rounded channel openings for greater playing comfort, a design that can be disassembled for tuning, and comes with a hard shell case. The harmonica is made in Germany.
