Serving as a first responder for field repairs, lansky's Blademedic Knife Sharpener Kit will work on virtually all knife blades and can also be used on gut hooks. It features tungsten carbide, ceramic, and tapered diamond sharpening rods, along with a serrated knife sharpener designed to get inside even the smallest serrations. Sharpening angles on the rods are pre-set at 22.5° to achieve a 45° inclusive angle.
Three or four strokes on the tungsten carbide or 1000-grit ceramic rods will restore your blade's edge, repairing nicks and other damage while substantially increasing sharpness. The 600-grit diamond rod is ideal for fast reconditioning and maintenance, including fine finishing touches.
