The NM-MICS from Nagra is an external stereo microphone for use with the ARES-M and ARES-MII portable recorders. The mic has two cardioid mic capsules that allow you to record excellent stereo images. The unit has two 3.5mm stereo plugs and two locking clips so that the mic doesn't accidentally detach from the recorder. There is a red band around the microphone so you can easily distinguish it from other external Nagra microphones for the ARES-M and ARES-MII.
