The VX-402 Wired Multi Stabilized Outdoor Detector from Optex is a 40 x 40' hardwired detector that provides the necessary stability and reliability for an outdoor PIR sensor. False alarms from animals as well as environmental nuisances are greatly reduced with its design and dual PIR detectors. The detector's dual PIR's create 2 detection areas (upper and lower) that must be simultaneously compromised in order to go into alarm. In addition, the detection length can be limited to avoid unwanted detection. By limiting the detection range, false alarms due to unwanted movement such as cars, persons, or animals outside the protected area can be eliminated.

My Optex VX40 sensor sometimes goes offline (open circuit) without a specific reason. It will stay offline and then come back online by itself. I have checked all the batteries and they are all in good condition. Any suggestions or advice?
