Use PLA filament to print objects as fine as 50 microns in sizes up to 6 x 6 x 6". Transfer .stl files to your Printrbot via micro-USB cable or microSD card. The auto-leveling print bed is not heated, and is completely open to the environment, making it well-suited to PLA printing, which needs to cool quickly to retain its shape. The Printrbot doesn't come with software, but recommends Cura or Repetier software, which can be downloaded for free from the internet. A 0.5kg sample spool of filament is included, allowing you to start printing right out of the box.
