User manual for the Sony Alpha a77 II DSLR Camera with 16-50mm f/2.8 ILCA77M2QGBL
The user manual for the Sony Alpha a77 II DSLR Camera with 16-50mm f/2.8 ILCA77M2QGBL provides
necessary instructions for the proper use of the product Photography - Digital Cameras - DSLR Cameras.
The Alpha a77 II DSLR Camera with 16-50mm f/2.8 Lens & Battery Grip from Sony combines the advanced DSLR along with a fast DT 16-50mm f/2.8 SSM standard zoom lens and vertical battery grip for versatility and enhanced handling. This package will cover a range of focal length from wide angle to short telephoto as well as offer greater convenience and comfort to those who are frequently shooting vertically or those who need more power for uninterrupted shooting.
The a77 II features a 24.3MP APS-C-sized Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor to enable up to 12 fps shooting and full HD movie recording with marked low-light quality and sensitivity to ISO 25600. The processor and sensor combination are also significantly benefitted by the unique Translucent Mirror Technology, which effectively directs light to both the image sensor and focus sensor simultaneously, to enable the 79-point AF system, with 15 cross-type points, to work continuously even while recording video and photographing in a continuous shooting mode.
For image monitoring, playback, and menu navigation, both a large rear monitor and detailed electronic viewfinder are available. The 3.0" 1,228k-dot LCD screen features a three-way tilting design to facilitate easier use from both high and low angles while the 0.5" 2.359k-dot Tru-Finder OLED EVF offers 100% frame coverage and a refined optical design to provide a natural viewing perspective and magnification. Additionally, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, with support for NFC-enabled devices, is also integrated into the a77 II to support remote camera control and image sharing to linked mobile devices.
Bundled with the camera is the DT 16-50mm f/2.8 SSM lens; a wide-angle to short telephoto providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-75mm. The constant f/2.8 maximum aperture maintains consistent performance throughout the zoom range while an SSM autofocus drive produces quick and quiet focus performance. Two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are incorporated within the lens construction, which help to reduce chromatic aberrations and produce imagery with a high degree of sharpness and clarity.
For additional features, the vertical battery grip is included as well which will reduce strain on the wrists when shooting vertically and has additional buttons and controls for improved ergonomics. It also holds two rechargeable batteries for double the power. It is gasket-sealed to match the weather-resistance of the a77 II and will automatically switch to the second battery when the first is depleted without interrupting camera operation.
